I am enamoured by Fate RPG's use of abstract mechanics to create a large variety of cinematic action.

This document is my attempt to further increase the varieties of cinematic action possible by adding a few more abstract mechanics for use in conflicts.

In particular, this document formalizes certain zone-wide effects and the player interactions with these effects.

From tossing an enemy over a waterfall,  to unleashing a flood by lowering a dam, from creating a wall of fire for deterring pursuers, to unleashing a psionic blast that hurts enemies and allies alike - the new mechanics will add more drama to your games.

With each section, I also provide Design Notes to clarify some anticipated questions.
